Rapid
Fat Burner Plus contains
high amounts of six natural ingredients
scientifically-proven to help
with weight-loss. And every claim
we make for every ingredient
in Rapid Fat Burner Plus can
be backed-up by reputable, scientific
research or clinical studies.
That’s
a big difference to some weight-loss
products on the market which
often make outrageous claims
but offer no credible proof.
The
two key weight-loss ingredients – forskolin and hydroxycitric
acid – are included
at even higher amounts than
proven to work in several clinical
studies
|
Other products quote ‘scientific
studies’ in their advertising but
actually contain much smaller amounts of
the ingredients than were used in the studies
so the product is effectively useless.
Forskolin and hydroxycitric
acid have been proven in clinical
trials to produce up to eight times
the weight loss in participants taking
them versus those taking a placebo.
Forskolin
Body
Composition and Hormonal Adaptations
Associated with Forskolin Consumption
in Overweight and Obese Men M.P.
Godard et al, Obesity Research 13: 8,
2005
In this 12-week, randomized, double-blind,
placebo-controlled human trial, 30 overweight
and obese subjects were divided into two
groups.
Subjects in the group receiving 25mg
of forskolin twice daily lost 9.95lbs of
fat mass versus a 1.12lbs loss by subjects
in the placebo group. The lean body mass
of the subjects in the test group also
increased by more than twice that of the
subjects in the placebo group.
That’s equivalent
to eight times more weight lost by the
people taking just 50mg of forskolin a
day. Three tablets a day of Rapid Fat Burner
Plus delivers 75mg of forskolin! That’s
50% more than the amount proven in clinical
studies to significantly reduce body fat!

Randomised
double-blind, controlled study
to investigate the efficacy
and safety of Forslean in increasing
lean body mass and reducing
body fat. Bhagwat
et al, C.B. Patel Research
Centre for Chemistry and Biological
Sciences, Mumbai
This 12 week double blind and randomized
study comprised 60 obese male and
female volunteers, 25 – 45
years old with a Body Mass Index
(BMI) between 28 – 40 and /
or body fat concentration above 30%
in males and 40% in females. The
subjects received either 25 mg of
forskolin twice daily in the form
of ForsLean® or a matching placebo.
Without any changes to
normal diet or exercise,
the Forslean® treated volunteers
lost six times the amount of body weight as
the placebo group.

Diterpene
Forskolin: A possible new compound
for reduction of body weight by increasing
lean body mass. V.
Badmaev et al, Sabinsa Corporation
2002.
Six overweight but otherwise healthy women
received one tablet of 25mg of Forslean
twice a day. Each participant was asked
to maintain their previous eating and exercise
habits. At the end of eight weeks the mean
weight loss was 9.17lbs. Fat content also
significantly decreased, whereas lean body
mass had significantly increased.
Hydroxycitric
Acid
The scientific studies supporting
hydroxycitric acid’s weight-loss properties are
based on 750mg
– 3000mg a day. By taking the recommended
three servings a day of Rapid Fat Burner
Plus you’ll be getting 3000mg a
day - the highest amount shown in clinical
studies to reduce the production of fat,
and suppress appetite!
Effects
of hydroxycitric acid on visceral
fat accumulation: A double blind
randomised, placebo-controlled trial. K.
Hayamizu et al, Current Therapeutic
Research 64:8, 2003.
In this randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled
study, thirty nine subjects were randomly
assigned to receive treatment for 12 weeks
with either 1000mg of hydroxycitric (HCA)
acid per day or a placebo. At the end of
twelve weeks, both groups were administered
the placebo for another four weeks to assess
any rebound effect.
At sixteen weeks the HCA
group had significantly reduced visceral,
subcutaneous and total fat areas compared
with the placebo group and there were no
signs of a rebound effect from weeks 12
to 16.
Effects
of hydroxycitric acid on appetitive
variables. R.
Mattes, L. Bormann, Physiology and
Behaviour 71, 2000.
In this randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled
study of eighty nine females, forty two
subjects were randomly assigned to receive
treatment for 12 weeks with 1200mg of hydroxycitric
(HCA) acid per day; the remainder received
a placebo.
The women receiving HCA
lost 54% more weight than the placebo group.

The
effect of hydroxycitrate
on energy intake and satiety
in overweight humans. MS
Westerterp-Plantenga, EMR
Kovacs, Int. Jnl. Of Obesity
2000.
This randomised, placebo-controlled
study of twenty four subjects tested
the effect of a relatively low
dose of HCA (900mg a day) over
a two week period. After two weeks,
twenty-four-hour energy intake
was significantly reduced by up
to 30% in the subjects who received
the HCA compared to those who received
a placebo. Satiety was also sustained
in the HCA group. There was also
a trend towards reduction in body
weight in the subjects who received
the HCA after just two weeks, compared
to the placebo.

Globe
Artichoke (Cynara Scolymus)
The cynarin in globe artichoke supports
liver function and has been shown to significantly
lower blood cholesterol levels.
The recommended
three servings a day of Rapid Fat Burner
Plus supplies the equivalent of 2250mg
of artichoke extract a day – 25%
more than the amount demonstrated in clinical
studies to support lowering of blood cholesterol
Efficacy
of Artichoke Dry Extract in Patients with
Hyperlipoproteinemia. W.
Englisch et al, Arzneim-Forsch/Drug Res 50
(1) 2000
Patients in this trial received either
1800mg of artichoke dry extract or a placebo
daily for six weeks. Total blood cholesterol
in the group receiving artichoke extract
reduced by 18.5% compared to 8.6% in the
group receiving the placebo. LDL (bad)
cholesterol decreased by 20.2% in the test
group compared to 7.2% in the placebo group.
“Oral
doses of cynarin significantly reduced
levels of total serum cholesterol in
patients with elevated serum lipids
in uncontrolled studies (750-1500mg
a day) and a double-blind, placebo-controlled
trial (500mg a day). Average body weight
was also significantly reduced in the
controlled trial.”

Gymnema Sylvestre
The leaves of Gymnema sylvestre suppress
the ability to taste sweet foods on the
tongue. It is also thought to inhibit absorption
of glucose from the intestine into the
blood stream. This dual action helps to
support healthy blood sugar levels and
suppress appetite by reducing cravings
for carbohydrates and sugary foods.
The recommended
three servings a day of Rapid Fat
Burner Plus supplies the equivalent
of 6gms of Gymnema sylvestre.
“Clinical
research under double-blind, placebo-controlled
conditions found that a concentrated
Gymnema extract considerably diminished
the sweet taste and significantly decreased
appetite and the amount of calories
consumed for up to 90 minutes after
the sweet-numbing effect.”
“Several
clinical studies verify that pretreatment
with Gymnema extract reduced the sweet
taste of sweeteners..”
“Various
pharmacologic studies based on dosages
of between 4gms – 11gms a day
of Gymnema have shown it to regulate
blood sugar, increase the uptake of
glucose into glycogen and protein in
muscle, and correct hyperglycemia in
mild diabetes.”

Green Tea
The weight loss and oxidation of fat which
occurs when you are on a diet can result
in the increased production of harmful
free radicals. As an antioxidant, green
tea ‘mops-up’ these free radicals
helping to protect your body from their
health-damaging effects.
"Green
tea polyphenols are potent antioxidant
compounds that have demonstrated greater
antioxidant protection than vitamins
C and E in experimental studies.
"A substantial number of human intervention
studies with green tea demonstrate a
significant increase in plasma antioxidant
capacity in humans approximately one
hour after consumption of moderate amounts
of tea. There are initial indications
that the enhanced blood antioxidant potential
leads to reduced oxidative damage to
macromolecules such as DNA and lipids.”

of energy and nervous exhaustion. That
means it may help you feel better, calmer
and more in control as you manage your
weight
“Schisandra’s
actions include hepatoprotective, anti-oxidant,
adaptogenic and mild anti-depressant.
Schisandra’s use is indicated
in liver disease, including the detoxifying
capacity of the liver, improving physical
performance, endurance and resistance
to the effects of stress, improving
mental performance, poor liver function.”
